Curtain lowers on exciting SA Open

Congratulations must go to the teams from Durban Country Club and the DP/Sunshine Tour for making the very best of extremely difficult circumstances in hosting the Investec South African Open!

Hard work in preparation for the SA Open

This week is the Investec South African Open Championship at Durban Country Club. This is in my opinion the premium golf event of the year with so many of the best South African golfers competing.

Durban has once again been hit with heavy rains, but just look at the work that was carried out on Wednesday after the downpour on Tuesday evening. The team from Matko Turf and The DP World Tour who are looking after the course preparation have to be congratulated for their tireless efforts.

Counting down to the SA Open

The rain has certainly arrived, what a wet few weeks we have had. With the SA Open next week at Durban Country Club, lets hope that it doesn’t affect the event too much. I hope you will get a chance to get down to Durban Country Club and watch this event co-sanction by the DP World Tour and the Sunshine Tour, there is a real excitement around the new and improved course and to see how the best players in the country perform round the “”old lady”.
