The Champion Golfer of the year

The last day of the Open was awesome and a very humble and deserving Champion emerged. Some of my observations…

Jordan Speith – A fantastic competitor, but it shows what pressure does to all golfers, in that come the last day he again battled with the putter.

Rory McIlroy – Surely the most talented player our there, he came second and looked like he never came out of 3rd gear.

Tiger Woods – Finished 6th and had a share of the lead with 9 holes to play, unbelievable comeback when you think of what he had been through. Dare I say that he still never really looked like winning.

Bernhard Langer – 24th place finish and only seven behind the winner. He’s 60 years old…

Keep an eye on these new golfers!

This week we saw two new golfers graduate from our Learner Golfer Program. Both Lynne and Cliff started from scratch with us 4 months ago and as you can see are now ready to get on to the course and have some fun.

Friday night under lights

Friday 3rd August is our next event sponsored by Harbour Wealth. There are some fun competitions for all with nice cash prizes, as well as live music and some wonderful specials at Monica’s.
